On December 15, 2017, the online-session “International cooperation of young scientists from the Eurasian Economic Union member states” (Vologda) was held as a part of the 17th International Research and Practice Conference “Young scientists, for region’s economy”. The event was co-organized by the Volodga Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Vologda city government, the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan.
The State Institution ‘Economic Research Institute’ was represented on the online-session by its two employees:
- D. Vasilenko, candidate of economic sciences and the department supervisor at the SI ERI, reported on “Comparative evaluation of the local governments’ authority in economic and social development (the case of Ukraine and the Russian Federation)”;
- L. Abdalyan, the leading economist at the SI ERI, reported on “The importance of international cooperation in developing the science of the Donetsk People’s Republic”.
Besides, two Institute’s employees submitted the theses for participation:
- A. Azarova, the junior research associate at the SI ERI, with theses on “Forming the congenial investment territorial climate in terms of economic warfare”
- E. Pluzhnikova, the leading economist at the SI ERI, with theses on “Issues of forming territorial investment attractiveness”.
