ERI representatives participated in the XIV International Conference “Economics and marketing in the XXI century: issues, experience, prospects”

The SI ‘Economic Research Institute’ in liaison with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the higher vocational school ‘Donetsk National Technical University’, the Ministry of Coal and Energy of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the higher vocational school ‘Donetsk National University’ organized the 14th International Academic Conference ‘Economics and marketing in the XXI century: issues, experience, prospects’, which was open on 23-24 November 2017.

In the plenary session, A. Matyushin, the candidate of economic sciences and the leading research associate at the SI ‘Economic research Institute’ delivered the report on “Conceptual bases of financial and credit support for industrial development of the DPR” (co-authored by A.V. Aborchi, research associate).

In the panel discussions, A. Bachurin, the junior research associate at the SI ERI, delivered the report on “Institutional environment of the state regulation of economic reindustrialization” (co-authored by R. Golodnyuk, the leading economist at the SI ERI).

The conference aimed at exchanging research and practice information (on topical issues and prospects for development of the Donetsk regional industry, modern marketing concepts and technologies, social and economic system’ resilience), at realizing creativity, uncovering and supporting gifted students.

The Conference included 3 sessions, which considered the following topical questions:

  • Topical issues and prospects for developing the Donetsk regional industry.
  • Modern marketing concepts and technologies.
  • Social and economic systems’ resilience.

The event gathered over 200 participants (researchers, practitioners, post-graduate and graduate students and professors) from the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Russian federation, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine and Bulgaria. Over 120 reports were submitted for participation.
